We are Drew and Joanne, the husband-and-wife team behind Drew Findlay Photography. Based in Heaton Mersey, Stockport, we specialize in providing stunning wedding photography across Manchester, Cheshire, and beyond. With our creative vision, technical expertise, and a genuine love for what we do, we make sure every moment of your wedding is captured beautifully and authentically.

Our Story

Our journey together began in Stockport, where our families first crossed paths during the 90s—at Stockport County football matches and through shared school connections. Though I (Drew) was a bit intimidated by Joanne back then (she’s got a strong, bossy side!), fate brought us together again many years later at a local pub on Christmas Day. After a decade of building our lives, we’re proud to say we’ve created a wonderfully chaotic family life with our three boys—Kayne, Luke, and Jack—and our little girl, Lyla.

From Film School to Wedding Photography

After graduating from film school in Chester, I worked in the TV industry, collaborating on shows with comedians, footballers, and even some colourful antiques dealers. My path into wedding photography was a happy accident. What started as a small venture quickly turned into a passion, leading to the creation of Drew Findlay Photography.

Since then, we’ve been incredibly fortunate to see our work featured in numerous prestigious wedding publications, including Bridebook (where we were thrilled to have our photographs selected as some of the best wedding images), The Daily Mail, and The Standard. We’re also proud to hold a coveted Fearless Photographer Award and to be recognized as one of their top photographers.
