Wellbeing Farm | Amy and Jane

Introducing the Amy and Jane who tied the knot at a very cold wellbeing Farm which is situated in the West Pennines near Bolton.

This super quirky venue and friendly staff provides a perfect setting for a wedding which saw a large loving family come together. Complete with the Italian contingent of the family who must have thought it was novel to find themselves on a hill in Lancashire in November.

The venue provides beautiful accommodation in the form of a small cottage attached to the farm and is well deserving of the best countryside wedding venue 2019. Where ever you wander within the grounds of this venue there is something interesting to look at.

The ceremony took place in a beautifully decorated barn which was uber cool. It was clear that the staff had worked very hard in preparing for Amy and Jane. In terms of barn style wedding venues you would struggle to find a cooler ceremony location and reception area.

The Wellbeing Farm is truly unique.

Wedding ceremony concluded. The wedding party moved to a bar area while the staff quickly turned the room around for the wedding breakfast. All the more unique as the very accommodating farmers brought out some of the Lama’s for people meet and stroke.

One of the biggest challenges for a Winter wedding is the lack of daylight as the nights draw in.

In this case. we ensure that we plan our day and agree with wedding couples an ideal time window to get those all important portrait shots because they are an important part of the wedding photography experience and the photographs will leave a legacy of your very special day.

Sometimes working within a timeframe of minutes before the sun goes down we work fast, still maintaining quality.

A professional wedding photographer will have done their research and planned in advance what their response is likely to be. Communicating the best approach with future couples in advance.

In our case. We are always prepared for the loss of light and able to compose dramatic indoor portraits using off camera flash and available light.

Tips for Wedding Couples

A good tip is to ask your photographer when considering your choice is ‘ask how they work with low light and what equipment they use such as lighting.

Look for examples of Winter weddings and check out how the photographer has used light.
