Belle Epoque Wedding: Louise and Paul

Louise and Paul Wedding at Belle Epoque

Introducing the Cheshire wedding of Louise and Paul who got married at the stunning Belle Epoque in Knutsford on a glorious day in July.

Wedding Photography Cheshire

When I met the bridal party at Cottons Hotel and Spa. I expected to be surrounded by the usual chaos of a group of ladies stressed about their hair and make up. However this was not the case.

The atmosphere was calm but purposeful and it was clear that these ladies all knew what they were doing and set about the preparation task without any drama.

Pre Wedding at Cottons Hotel and Spa

When I arrived at the impressive Belle Epoque. I found Paul and best man Damon meeting and greeting the wedding guests. As we set up for the ceremony we couldn’t help but be amazed by our surroundings.

Every small detail was expertly prepared for a Summer wedding. The wedding ceremony room was dark, tasteful and moody. Everything you would expect from an eclectic boutique hotel in the heart of Cheshire.

After a beautiful wedding ceremony which encompassed readings from Louise’s Son and Daughter it was to the sun terrace at the back of the venue. In the blazing heat I felt like I was in a scene from Captain Corelli’s Mandolin.

It was at that point when you look around and think “being a wedding photographer is a pretty cool job”. Wedding party photographs done and lots of candid photographs taken which wasn’t a difficult task .

Amazing Wedding Venue

It was time to head to the impressive dining room where the guests had an amazing wedding breakfast prepared and served by the the impeccable Belle Epoque staff.

As a wedding photographer I am used to hearing lots of moving speeches but Louise and Paul’s wedding will forever stand out as both Louise’s adult children had decided to change their names in order to include Paul’s surname.

As a step father to Three boys myself I was fighting back the tears myself and served as testament to Paul and the great contribution he has made to his family. I would only hope to emulate his achievements with our own crazy family.

First dance, cut the cake and the party continued in the same manner of the rest of the day.

Louise and Paul are an amazing couple with an amazing family and set of friends.

We would like to thank you for letting us share in your very special wedding day.

Fantastic Staff

In terms of the venue. Belle Epoque is sublime and very much amongst the elite within the North West. The surroundings are beautiful and every brides dream. The staff are organised, smart and friendly and a special thank you to bar manager Joe and venue manager John for your help and warmth throughout the day.
